BD Chaurasia’s Human Anatomy, Volume 4 is entirely dedicated to Brain and Neuroanatomy. This is typically the final volume of the BDC series that medical students dive into, and it is widely considered the most conceptually challenging part of the first-year anatomy curriculum.
While volumes 1 through 3 deal with physical muscles, bones, and organs that you can easily hold and dissect, Volume 4 deals with the intricate, microscopic wiring of the central nervous system.
